Princess Nora University (PNU) is another success story for TECO outside Egypt, and because the project was huge, and time schedule was very tied to finish the whole project, the Saudi government decided to split the works between the biggest main contractors in Saudi Arabia which were Saudi Bin Laden Group (SBG) and Saudi OGER. Just after a successful handover of KAUST project early in 2010, TECO was approached by Saudi Bin Laden Group – SBG) to work as AV Integrator on the whole AV package for Princess Nora University in Riyadh, where SBG was doing the construction for the following facilities: – • (Qty. 8) Colleges out of total (Qty. 16) colleges in the campus • Sports facilities and Stadium • Residential Buildings • (Qty. 2) Schools SBG awarded the whole AV systems in all facilities to TECO to Design, Engineering, Product Selection, Installation, Programming, Commissioning and startup for the whole AV package, while SBG would supply all AV products which were selected by TECO. In The meantime working with SBG, CAPELEC Middle East who was doing the MEP works for Saudi OGER in the other part of the project, approached TECO to do the same scenario as being done previously in KAUST project and which was implemented between TECO and SBG, and additional (Qty 2) Colleges were added to TECO scope of work. The project was very exciting to all TECO team, and the decision was made at that point to move forward and challenge ourselves again in Saudi Arabia and deliver the complete solution on time as usual, and since that date Staff working in TECO, understand the message behind We Knows How to deliver, How to implement, How to win, and How to finish projects on time.
