In the year 2010, During TECO Presence in Saudi Arabia speeding against time to finish the different AV packages Princes Nora University (PNU) project, we were requested by the top Management in SBG to design and build the AV system for the biggest auditorium in the Middle East – King Saoud University Auditorium with a total Capacity of 5000 Persons. This was another big challenge to deliver uniform intelligible sound for 5000 persons and deliver high-quality Video to such huge amount of spectators

TECO proudly accepted the challenge and started doing extensive Electro-Acoustic simulations for the auditorium, and the decision was made to go ahead with one of the most powerful Line Arrays Manufacturers in the world (Renkus Heinz), and the design based on 3 big line arrays – each includes 6 3-way modules – in Lift – Center – Right Configuration to cover the main seating areas in the auditorium in addition to (Qty 3) 3-way front fill speakers and (Qty 3) Dual 18” Sub – Woofers

Another three line arrays were used to cover the Lower and Upper balcony in Lift – Center – Right Configuration, and another (Qty 3) 3-way speakers were used to cover the seating area under the lower balcony

A powerful audio Digital Audio Mixer together with Audio Signal Processing was used to achieve required delays and equalization for each array and to allow different use of the auditorium (Music – Life concerts – Speech – Playback).

For Projection System, we used the most powerful Video projector available with 35K ANSI Lumens from Christie Digital on the main screen together with another (Qty 2) 20K ANSI Lumens Video Projectors on the back 2 screens for the upper balcony.
